We’re Altru Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered at 453 E. 14th St. Unit 1B, New York, NY 10009 (referred to as “Altru Labs,” “we,” “us,” and “our”).
Through our website and our app (available in the Apple App Store), we provide a platform that cultivates connection between candidates and employees at hiring companies. Our app, website, and platform are referred to, collectively, as our “Services.” Users of our Services include employers, employees, job candidates, visitors to our website, and users of our app (referred to, collectively and interchangeably, as “visitors,” “users,” “you,” and “your”).
Altru Labs is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries and Switzerland, respectively, in reliance on each Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. Altru Labs is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under each Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Altru Labs complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, Altru Labs is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, Altru Labs may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Altru Labs commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information. European Union and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield policy should first contact Altru Labs at: email@example.com, or if the request is urgent, by phone at 469-583-4944.
Altru Labs has further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to EU Data Protection Board or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, for individuals under the jurisdiction of the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Frameworks respectively. The services of each resolution provider listed are provided at no cost to you.

1. What Personal Information Do We Collect?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information from you is to help you use our Services and to allow us to provide functionality and features that most likely meet your needs. In order to do so, we may collect personal information from you as follows:
(a) Information you voluntarily provide to us. We collect, maintain, and process personal information that you voluntarily submit to us while using the Services or communicating with us. This includes, for example, personal information you provide:
● Upon registration, when you initially sign up and create an Altru Labs account, we may collect your:
- E-mail address
- Job title
- Altru Labs password
● When you share information using the Services (for example, by submitting videos), we may collect:
- Your image or likeness
- Sound and video recordings of you
● If you contact us, we may collect additional information from you (such as a telephone number and email address).
(b) Information we collect through your use of the Services. To provide the Services and make them more relevant and personalized for our users, we collect, maintain, and process personal information collected using cookies, pixels, beacons, log files, and other technologies when you use our Services.
We may also collect personal information regarding your mobile device when you use our app or otherwise use a mobile device to access our Services. This may include the following:
- Type of mobile device you use.
- Your device’s IMEI number.
- The MAC address of the device’s wireless network interface.
- The mobile phone number used by the device.
- Metadata relating to the content you submit including access times and dates.
- Mobile network information.
- Your mobile operating systems.
This personal information allows us to deliver more helpful information, services, and tools and to verify that the content you are submitting is legitimate. If you are uncomfortable with the idea of your information being used in this way, most computer systems and web browsers offer privacy settings and options, such as disabling cookies or opting for “Do Not Track” features. Altru Labs does not override these settings or options, and we encourage you to use them to enhance your choices and personalize your experiences. However, in order to access certain content, features, services, products, or benefits on our Services, you may be required to provide Altru Labs with certain information, including some types of personally identifying information such as your name, email, business affiliation, and job title. If you do not wish to provide such information through our Services or if you opt to utilize the aforementioned privacy features of your computer system or web browser, you may not be able to obtain certain content, features, services, products, or benefits of our Services.
(c) Information we collect from third parties. We may also combine the above information with personal information that you provide to third parties who have your permission to share it with us.
